The relationship amongst the three of my children is something I'm surrounded with daily. And daily they change. Almost hourly, they change. With the weather. The number of people in the house. Time left until the next meal. All these things play a factor in the mood and therefore the current relationships of my children. Given all of this the underlying theme is nothing short of adoration. Sometimes, some show it better than others. Other times some don't show it at all.

While he definitely has his moments that The Boy wants to be alone. That he doesn't want his sisters, or any of their things, coming within a ten foot radius of him. That he needs to be alone, whether he wants to or not. For the most part he wants them wherever he is. Sometimes that means putting them wherever he is. If Miss Thing leaves the room he can often be found chasing after her, motioning her to follow him and saying, "mm ear." To be translated, "Come here."
In the case of Little Miss her feelings toward him are definitely mutual. She goes along with most things that he has planned. He lets her poke her fingers in his mouth. She lets him carry her around. While there are times that his "tough love" drives me crazy. Or the fact that they worry too much about the other person, instead of just taking care of themselves. Or those moments when all this loving and singing songs and brushing each other's hair is gone by the wayside and replaced with lots and lots of screaming and crying. In spite of all this I'm so grateful they have each other. It's amazing to be able to watch these little relationships unfold and grow into something that will last all of their lives.
I love watching all this sibling stuff.
