Act II was acted out by yours truly. Although what Mom has time to be sick let alone wallow around in it? So out of neccessity, duty and pure sheer will Act II was very short lived.
I've come to learn a few things during this experience.
When The Boy is sick just because he might act semi-normal at home once he gets to school it's a different ball game. Might as well keep him home, instead of having to go and pick him up. He requires ice packs, for no other reason than to just carry around. Movies, movies, movies. Naps are short lived.
When Miss Thing is sick she likes her hair in "piggies," a wash cloth around her neck and sleeping on the couch. Oh and, she'll love me for sharing this one, medicine for two days straight will, shall we say, bind her up a bit. Another fun experience involving lots of singing, book reading and hand holding in the loo. And some Benifiber too.
I really hope this play ends soon.

Doesn't sound like the best weekend you've ever had. Oh and the part about Mom being sick....forget it, doesn't work unless of course you are on your death bed .... then maybe! Hope this week brings wellness.
