21 For The Little Miss

 

Twenty-one things that you may or may not know about a girl who may or may not be, but most likely is, the cutest little thing ever.

1. She is trying hard to rid herself of an afternoon nap. I’m trying harder to convince her otherwise

2. She likes to unload/unpack/empty out anything. When she does it isn’t enough to dump everything out in a pile. Oh no. She meticulously takes out one item at a time then places it in a spot on the floor. So the mess because an entire room experience instead of just a pile on the floor.

3. She says mama, dada, Ruth (“roo”), William (“wiwm”), school, backpack, show, water (“wawa”), eat, mine, bye, ni-night,

4. She got an ice cream cake for birthday. As in shaped like an ice cream cone, as opposed to a cake with ice cream in it. She loved it.

5. When she signs for a drink she points at her throat. The first time she did this to her father he freaked out. The universal sign for choking is to point at ones throat.

6. She’s a monkey. As in monkey see, monkey do.

7. She shares her displeasure by growling

8. She likes to empty the dishwasher. And sometimes has help

9. She hums to herself while she “works”

10. We call her our resident vegetarian

11. She likes to play in the sand. I’d be surprised if the school sandbox has any sand left at the end of the year. Judging from the amount that she stores in her shoes.

12. She loves hats. If she sees one lying around she’ll put it on.

13. Doesn’t have much use for having her hair done.

14. Loves a good swing.

15. She’s going to be a cupcake for Halloween.

16. She has come to the point where she is frequently on a mission. And it almost always involves walking away from me.

17. She absolutely loves when dada comes home.

18. When she wants something she’ll tap the nearest person on the arm and say “mama, mama, mama..”

19. Her kisses are memorable.

20. When she sees someone sad or crying she’ll walk up to them and pat their back.

21. She has the ability to wrap those she meets around her tiny fingers.
