Football season is upon us.
This year Miss Thing has also joined the ranks. Although she has made it clear she’s only doing it for the post game snacks.
She’s the only girl on her team. Although I don’t think she realizes that being so makes her different.
I have to say I’m proud of her, for sticking it out and trying.
Although she really doesn’t know what she’s doing.
And very easily gets distracted with her flag.
After every game and practice, though, she says she’s having fun. Which is kind of all that matters.
I’ll tell you who else is having fun.
This kid. Curled up tongue and all.
He doesn’t get to play as much as he’d like.
But when he does there are a few on his team to help him be where he is supposed to.
It’s hard not to be proud of this one too.
Even when his time in is cut short.
He always hustles.
As crazy as our weeks end up with two practices and game schedules to follow they’re both loving it so it’s hard not to just go with it.
Even if we eat a lot of macaroni and cheese.
