Because She’s a Genius

 

I know I’ve mentioned it before but I’ll say it again. Being a mother of children with special needs you learn to celebrate all the milestones, no matter how small. In part because it often takes us longer to get there so it often feels like a big accomplishment. And also in part because I’ve thrown out the time line on the when and the if they do things so when they do it just further cements the fact that my children must be geniuses. All of them.
