The view I pass by every time I go home.
Once kids were home from school yesterday we loaded in the car and took had our annual Fall Tree Tour. We’ve had some crazy wind here in Kansas so a lot of the leaves had blown off the trees. We still found some beauties though!
This year instead of doing all the picture taking myself I handed the camera off to the big kids when they found a tree they loved. Little Miss was not to be left out. She kept saying, “I try.” Handing her the camera to hold for a moment was all it took to satisfied her.
And here’s some big news. Miss Thing has been talking about going and seeing the trees for a couple of weeks. So even though I cook up some crazy ideas for us to do and even though it’s only me having fun I’m still doing something they’ll remember. Ba-bam!
Red, of course.
We found a bunch like this. That had all the colors of fall in one tree.
© Miss Thing. She loved the yellow ones.
© The Boy. He loved whatever he saw right after Miss Thing had a turn.

I seem to find this tree each year. It must be one of my favorites.

I love fall.
Perhaps you might have noticed.

And that’s a wrap!
