A lot like the real deal.
Except it doesn’t involved things like tents and cooking and sleeping bags and hikes to the nearest facilities. It can be just as fun, though, especially since it involves a mother who gets to sleep in her own bed.
It does involve camping chairs
And a campfire
It involves soda
And spills
A dog that ignores me
It involves some running. And a little retrieving.
Happy faces
Some roasted things
Dusk
And more happy faces
After all those things are done you clean up and go home. And take a real shower. Then go to sleep in a real bed. Hardly any set up and even less take down.
Pretend camping is where it’s at.

Sounds so fun! love the pics! I've been sad I haven't been real camping in such a long time...and even more sad that my kids haven't experienced it as much. Maybe we should try out some pretend camping to prep them.
Looks like a perfect set up! Not to mention minimal dirt.
NICE!!! looks like a fun place to escape too.
