21 For Miss Thing

While I’m all too aware that Miss Thing does not have anything extra as far as chromosomes are concerned but she is surrounded them. So for that reason I think she gets to join in the twenty-one fun.

1. She drives me crazy. In a good way. I think.

2. She wants to be a ballerina for Halloween.

3. She loves her sister. Loves to be in her face and treat her like a baby doll. That sometimes drives the sister crazy.

4. Her birth was my only normal one. It felt great. Even if I was up for the twenty four hours prior.

5. While still in the hospital with her the nurses brought her to me crying. They said she was hungry and they couldn’t console her. I tried to feed her but she was so worked up that she wouldn’t go for it. I had to calm her down before I could get her to eat. I should have caught the clue then.

6. She loves to dance.

7. She loves to sing.

8. She requests pancakes (or waffles) for dinner at least once a week. And chicken and french fries for lunch.

9. She loves to help me makes stuff in the kitchen.

10. She frequently translates for her brother and sister. Whether they need her to or not.

11. Is very particular about her clothes. We usually get along better if I just don’t try to pick them out for her. It causes problems.

12. If her looks could kill I would be dead.

13. Loves fancy fluffy dresses

14. Can’t wait until she is five. I frequently hear “I’ll do that when I’m 5.”

15. Likes to know names. When I told her that someone bought our house her first question, “what’s their name?”

16. She loves leaves. And rocks.

17. As a very vivid imagination.

18. Loves to swing

19. Tells me that she’s hungry approximately twenty-four times in a day. When it finally comes time for a meal she eats like a bird.

20. Is really good at scrubbing potatoes.

21. Talks. A. Lot. She tells it like it is. And she is just starting to ask me how my day is going. What I’m doing. And such. It’s so funny having conversations with her. In fact she talks so much most days I quite literally can’t hear myself think.

I have so many feelings about this girl. More feelings than there are words to describe. This one thing I know, I couldn’t do what I’m doing without her.

Love it! And as for the being hungry and not eating thing, I thought Emily had the market cornered on that! I am always telling her that hungry people often find eating helpful, but apparently I know nothing! I think our two girls would either get on like a house on fire, or instantly dislike each other ;)
