More Things For Mom To Do

She's one you know. So now is when she's decided to do all the big girl things. She's working on four (count them four) teeth. It's been in the last couple of weeks that she's been mobile with a purpose. Not just reaching and stretching to get something just barely out of reach. She's getting where she wants to be. Which is, much of the time, right in front of the vent when the air conditioning is on.

Then there was tonight. I should back up and say I've had this thought for the past couple of days that I need to lower the mattress in her crib. But I haven't done it. Because, well, I just haven't.

Tonight I put her in bed. Turned around to get The Boy in bed. Then moved on to Miss Thing and got her in bed. When I turned back around. There she stood. With her impish grin, pointing at me. I, of course, went to get the video camera on the chance that I could get her to do it again. I laid her down and could barely get the camera started before she was up again. I gave myself a head start for the second go around.

Tomorrow I will be lowering the mattress in her crib.
