This weekend The Boy participated in a Special Olympics track meet.
I had already planned to go to on a little girls weekend so I couldn’t go. But that didn’t mean forced the camera on David and threatened him if he didn’t use it ask David to be sure and snap some photo’s for me. He didn’t disappoint.
As he says he always does whatever his wife asks *cough*
Here’s a quick recap. He participated in three events.
3rd place: 100 M run
2nd place: softball throw (think the shot-put)
1st place: 400 M walk.
That’s right he medalled in all three. Of course he did.
Can you see him?
Red coat, black pants. Would you look at that stride?
You may have noticed all the coats. Well it was cold. And windy. Which made it more cold.
I have to send out a little shout out to the father of these children. It was a rough day for all of them. But he got them dressed and where they needed to be (by 7 in the morning), then he was sure to take pictures for his crazed crazy wife, fed them and then came home with the same number as he left with. It was no easy feat and he did an amazing job. Ok, off my soap box.
The 400 M walk. Most of the time he walked with hands in his pockets, such a funny kid.
Well done, my boy!

Not going to lie... the orange coat in the first picture threw me a little. The stride is what helped me know it was him.
Very Nice! So want to come watch those one day. You are going to need a separate house for all those medals you are going to win over the next__ years!
I too was thrown by the orange coat....but his run is what sets him apart. Well done Sir William!!
You will need to build (craft) a big display case just for his many achievements :)
