While I'm spending the afternoon with my water turned off while a new water heater (to replace the 35 year old one that used to be in my basement) is being put in I figured I would make the most of my time and edit pictures from our trip.
On the 27th David and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. It's hard to believe we've been married 7 years. It doesn't sound like a very long time, but 7 years ago it sounded like it might have well be for eternity. I couldn't have imagined, then, all that we have been through in those short 7 years.
For our day, which we've never really celebrated before, we took the kids to Temple Square. We visited the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, the Church Office Building and walked around the temple. It was a little warm and we did have one little girl have issues with that. But it was neat to visit the place we got married, on our anniversary.

We decided it would be fun to take Trax down. And it was fun, for kids and parents alike.

Neither David or I had ever been to the Church Office Building. They had a "tour" that we went on, which consisted of going up to the 27th floor. It was amazing to see the city from so high up. Although we could definitely see where the city ended, it's where all the trees stop.

Not surprisingly this was the girl with the "issues." The pink and purple flowers gave her (and us) a reprieve from all her woes.

The water was on in the fountain. Water is a good thing.

To them who cannot possibly, even if paid and especially when threatened, keep their hands out of it.

Isn't she cute? I think so.

See? I told you. A girl with issues. And she wants everyone to know about them.

This is as good as it gets.

She just keeps getting cuter, I'm not quite sure how she does it. But she does.

They can be cute too, sometimes, I guess.

After our little trip to Temple Square we dropped the kids off with Grandma and David and I went to lunch. He chose Rodizio's. When given the choice that is always what he chooses. I like to go there for their pineapple and now I have found another reason, Brazilian Lemonade. So, so, good. Then we went searching for a Latin market so he could buy a years supply of Guarana. It was then back to the hotel for the family party. It was a great day!
Wow, seven years has come and gone!

What a great way to celebrate your anniversary! I love when you post things about Miss Thing because it makes me feel like I'm not all alone with my attitudish daughter!
My husband and I celebrated our 7th anniversary Aug. 1.
Your family looks a lot like mine.
Hope your next 7, and 50 for that matter, are absolutely wonderful.
