When I was little, very little, I had a vivid imagination. So my mom calls it. We lived on a farm, or at least that was what we called it. Lots of land, lots of space. At least to a four year old. I wonder if it would seem so big to me now. Anyway I used to pretend that I was married, happily I'm sure, to a ditch digger. I was an airplane pilot and we had a beautiful family of ten children. Ten children.
Fast forward a few years. A favorite past time of theirs is to take airplane rides on mom, so I've got my pilot license down. Some days I feel like each of my yahoo's count as three. The dog has to count as one. Ten kids down.
Planting season is upon us. For the past two evenings Mr. Man has been out in the garden prepping the ground. We discovered a couple of years ago that potatoes grown beautifully in our yard. I like to take credit for this as I feel this comes from my Idaho roots. I do little else to aid in the potato process besides turning them into something yummy at the end.

There he is! Ditch digging away!

I suppose I did help a little. I cut up all the potatoes for planting. It's a thing of beauty!

Nice start on the garden. We bought our potatoes last week too! Now to convince Dad it is not going to freeze......this is always a debate with us!! His heart is in California but is mind is still in Idaho or something like that. Anyway, loved to see your gardening taking shape!
This makes me want to start my garden! Except that it's under a foot of snow currently. Oh well, maybe next weekend :) And I love the collage of your babe below- SO cute!!!
