Musings for Monday

• Its been fun looking back on our adventures
• But I don’t want to miss out on documenting the stuff happening now
• This past weekend we went to a swim party with The Boy’s team. We had lots of fun. The Boy, though, would get wet and play by the wall but if we tried to get him to do anything away from said wall he climbed right out and sat on a chair. Every now and again he would take a quick dip back in the pool. Such a funny kid. Especially since he’d been asking us all week about going to the pool.
• In other news we lost his glasses for a while. I really dislike not being able to find things. And then when I couldn’t remember the last time I saw him wearing them, yeah I didn’t like that either. We pulled his bed out and cleaned behind it and couldn’t find them. Walked around in the yard. Cleaned out the car, couldn’t find them. Pulled the couch out, cleaned behind it, couldn’t find them. Finally David sat down in his chair and leaned back and there they were in the back of his chair.
• Bonus: lots of stuff got “cleaned out”
• This past week is what I’m calling as our first official week of summer. I thought it went pretty well, I’ll have more to say on that later though
• In the afternoons I write out a list of chores for us to do, not everyone is always too enthusiastic about it but we all have survived so far
• This week our weather is supposed to be much warmer. That whole “surviving” thing is going to be much trickier
• Last week was MT first piano lesson. We’re both so excited. I’m pretty sure she’ll be a natural. But I am her mother.
