- This weekend was amazing
- We spent much of the weekend watching General Conference. A time for us to hear the words from our prophet and apostles and be uplifted.
- Before that, though, The Boy had his first track and field practice
- Sadly the track was unavailable so their wasn’t much practicing going on
- He was so bummed
- Especially since Friday evening we found him so new shoes for his track and fielding
- Seriously amazed with all the orange stuff we keep finding
- So anyway we took the kids to the park on Saturday and went for our usual walk and David made the kids run
- I’m pretty sure that MT will be a runner. The girl loves to run. And she’s good at it.
- F.Y.I. she did not get that from me
- On Sunday I made cinnamon rolls
- I am, what my sister has dubbed us, a “cinnamon roll snob”
- I’m turning David into one too
- I use my mother’s recipe for the rolls and my own twist for the frosting
- I’m in love with cream cheese and I just can’t help myself
- During this lovely cinnamon-roll-making process MT was eating a pear. And one of her teeth came out. Just. Like. That.
- When she shockingly exclaimed that her tooth fell out I asked her if she was joking. She responded, “Yes!”
- She wasn’t joking.
- Being the winner of a tooth fairy we have for this house she forgot to swing by our place last night.
- I’m sure she had a good excuse.
- I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about this little blog. My own little space of the internet void. The past few days have helped me find some clarity and put things into perspective for me. I love with thinking and uplifting words can get me to that point.
See you soon!
