Is back to school week.
I will admit that there were days in the past two months that I thought we would not make it.
But we did.
And it’s here.
And I’m relieved.
So here is the schedule for the week.
Monday. First day of school for The Boy. Might I mention that the kid was up at 6:45 dressed and ready to go to school at that point. Might I also mention that he was less then thrilled with the thought of only staying half a day and not being able to pack a lunch. I just love how eager he is to be rid of me. Also we have a visit from Little Miss’ teacher. Also we’re finally getting the a/c fixed (long long story).
Tuesday. Nothing planned yet. Maybe laundry. Maybe I’ll stick with nothing. In the evening Orientation for Miss Thing.
Wednesday. First day of school for the Little Miss. Also an appointment for Miss Thing to meet her teacher and see her classroom.
Thursday. The long awaited day. First day of school for Miss Thing. Not quite sure what I’m going to do with myself. Thinking about just sitting in silence. In the evening Orientation for the big kids.
Friday. Big kids to school, Little Miss off. Just her and me for the day.
So that’s it. What a week.
Last night I couldn’t get to sleep. You’d have thought it was Christmas or something.

Perhaps you could use some of your free time to come up with activities to do with me when I get there? :) Counting down the days.

How exciting to have the kiddos going back to school. Funny to hear that they are looking forward to it so much, too. Ainsley is looking forward to going back, Gavin has been dreading it.
I had the hardest time letting konner go. Bohooo..I did enjoy the quiet... We need to hang out kim.
