47 is a number we love. It’s a number we live by.
It’s the number of chromosomes 2/3 of my children sport.
It’s also the number of days it has been since I’ve last posted.
So much has happen and so many stories to tell. But I can’t tell every story today. My new motto has become “one thing at a time.” I’m much more sane when I live that way.
So in the past 47 days we’ve packed lots of boxes, taken lots of trips to a storage unit, had the flu, one of our number went to Boston for a week, sold our house (third times a charm), spent two weeks staying at David’s parents, bought a new house (on April 1st mind you), tripled the size of our living space, went to the dentist, went to a couple of doctors, started unpacking, moved around that which was unpacked, moved Little Miss to a big bed, after two and half weeks said LM finally figured out she could get down, planned another trip to the dentist, planned another trip to the doctor for a brand spankin’ new set of tubes (I’ll give you one guess who those are for), had visitors (wish they could have stayed longer), drank gallons of our favorite dairy’s chocolate milk, discovered unpacking takes so much more time than packing, discovered I don’t like unpacking.
So those are my reasons for spending 47 days away from my little blog. Hopefully it won’t take 47 more to catch up.
Tomorrow I’m taking The Boy (did you guess right?) to have his 6th (that’s right 6) set of tubes placed.
Think of us.
And now back to my 47 boxes that need unpacking.
That maybe a slight exaggeration. Maybe.

Wow - that sounds like a lot of fun & a even more work! I'll be praying for you all as you sort it all out at your new house.
Dang... she's figured it out already! Maybe she isn't as much like her cousins as previously stated. Silly girl! Thoughts and prayers for tomorrow. He's going for a world record, I tell you!
And I thought I was busy! Good luck for the grommets. We're off for our first set next month. So glad you're back.
We moved twice within 18 months a couple of years ago. Never again, and I had packers!
Glad you are back!
I knew you must be busy, but I'm glad you are back to posting. I've missed reading about your family. Good luck tomorrow. Congratulations on the new house. Saw pictures of it and it looks great!
