The Texas Adventure Continued

Aside from the swimming and bouncing we did venture out a little, while we were in Texas. On Saturday we loaded everyone up and drove to Ft. Worth, to the stockyards. Twice a day they have a stock drive up and down the street. I'm laughing still about cows going up and down the street. But I do have to remember that this is Texas.

Hey cow! The whole experience did last long. Aside from the cows there were a number of shops and things to look around at.

This was my favorite. It spoke to me.

Then in the middle of everything a train pulls up. The boy was thrilled. First the cows and then the train, it was some crazy stuff. Crazy stuff in Texas.

We got to see John Wayne's star. This ones for you dad! I promise that The Boy was not the only person on this little adventure.

After all the shops and the cows and the train it was time for some BBQ. Can a person go to Texas and not get BBQ? I don't think so. But on a Saturday night one must wait for BBQ. And good things come to those who wait. The kids did their best to entertain themselves.

On Sunday we ventured out to the cemetery where David's cousin is buried. This is our second year doing this. Each time we were able to find where we needed to go, without exactly knowing where to go. Pretty amazing.

The rest of our time was spent playing games (this is the dad game), eating yummy food

 Kids hanging out.

Kids sharing toys. That is until Little Miss screamed in Grayson's face. He didn't think it was quite as fun as she did.

 Such fun.

Thank you so much Borjas Family for such a wonderful time! See you next year!

Be adventurous
