I had a lovely day, starting with breakfast in bed. All inclusive. In other words, the breakfast came with the kids. Or the kids came with the breakfast. Not sure which. Either way I had three little people "helping" me eat my breakfast.
For the past few weeks I've been working on our Mother's Day outfits. I took the Mother's Day photo shoot to a whole new level this year. Matching outfits. Am I wierd? Oh well. I was happy. It's the one day that things are sort of, kind of, all about me. So I don't care if I have to fight with my almost four year old to get her to wear her dress, it's my day so you'll wear it whether you like it or not! Got it?
Once we got past that, the day was lovely! Here are a few of my favorites from this year...
I was worried that the weather wasn't going to cooperate. We got rained out last year. It was windy and cool, but it still worked!
Matchy, matchy!
The reality of my momhood. As David puts it, "this speaks truth!"
It was a lovely day. It is my belief that as woman we are all blessed with mothering hearts and atributes. So really, to me, this is a day to celebrate womanhood. Happy Mother's Day to you all!
Thank you David for your mad photography skills!

Love it! And no you're not weird for having matching outfits... there are plenty of other things that make you weird, but that's not one of them. lol!

Great photos... love the outfits. Very colorful and fun. So glad you were treated like royalty on Mother's Day.
Love the matchy matchy. That's not so fun with little boys. I love the mother's day pic tradition.
