Visiting Nature

This week the weather has been nice and sunny (almost too hot for me). Which means we've been able to get outside and have some adventures.
On Monday we went to the nature center. We packed a picnic to take with us. They have a fun park to play at and then we walked around and looked at their different exhibits. They have a Butterfly house that we've been to before and I absolutely loved it. I thought my kids would get a kick out of it. Sadly I only saw three butterflies in all. The kids spent a total of 24 seconds in it. Enough time to get from one door to the other. Oh well. They had fun looking at all the other things and animals. They also have a fish hatchery which we saw a number of huge fish. That part made me slightly nervous as I had visions of The Boy jumping right in to play with them. Thankfully this did not happen.
It was great fun, but I hope the next time we go we can find more butterflies.

I guess I didn't realize until I looked at this picture later just how outnumered The Boy is. I think he makes up for it in personality!

The answer to your question is no, it doesn't get any cuter than this!
