The past few days I've been busy sending out Christmas cards and making goodies to pass around to friends and teachers. It occurred to me that this is the first year I've really been able to do all of these things. In years passed these are the kinds of things that fell off the the wayside. It was fun to be able to make lots of different treats, package them up and send them off. I suppose this is one of those "perks" about being a S.A.H.M. Most days I look around pretty convinced that I have no idea if I'm doing this right. But today being able to send David off to work with bags full of goodies for his co-workers and pack William's bag with gifts for his teachers and a treat for the Christmas Party, it just gave me some warm fuzzies. Maybe I could get used to this...

That is definitely a perk, but also another pressure! I found an easy goodie to make this year...candied almonds! They were fast and yummy and everyone loved them! Great job Kim!
It appears that you are more on the ball than I am, and I've been a SAHM for 5 years! Can I blame it on the fact that I'm 8 months pregnant?? I love the new Christmas pictures of the kids... and the snow pictures too. I thought I wouldn't be sick of the snow until after Christmas, well that was until we got about a foot and a half this weekend! (And then it was -28 with the windchill today...I'm ready to go back to AZ!)
I agree- it's fun to CREATE!
